Meg has returned to her childhood home to help her aging father. But when her twelve-year-old uncovers a long-forgotten relic from her past, Meg must decide in a matter of moments who she’ll protect: her parent or her child.

Told in real time over six minutes as three generations prepare for church on a sunny Sunday morning, Such A Pretty Girl is a stand-alone short film, written and directed by Deborah Puette.

It also serves as the proof-of-concept for a feature film currently in development.

Such A Pretty Girl is supported by The Gotham Film & Media Institute.
